Belinda Sullivan, Owner / Managing Director
Belinda spent her adolescence growing up in the hospitality industry, as she managed the restaurants that her parents owned. Following a period where she later managed a high-profile national catering firm, Belinda decided to launch her own company that would ultimately delight clients Sydney-wide.
Belinda has a true passion for all things culinary and believes that food holds immense significance when celebrating milestones and special occasions. The most rewarding aspect of her job is being able to enrich the lives of people through the magic of beautiful food and making their celebration that little bit more special.
When she’s not at Flavours, Belinda enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons.
Favourite menu item: Belinda can’t resist our ‘Chocolate Brownie Baby Bites’.
Chris Watts, General Manager
Having worked with food since the age of fifteen, Chris has vast experience in numerous supervisory and managerial roles in the hospitality industry. Chris was the first employee that Belinda took on following the launch of Flavours and his role has evolved significantly; having first started making sandwiches and delivering orders, he now provides leadership and vision to help shape the future of Flavours with Belinda.
Chris spends his weekends with his family, boating and beaching, as well as experimenting in the kitchen. He also admits to a fondness for Microsoft Excel which satisfies his inner geek.
Favourite menu item: Chris loves anything with our ‘House-smoked Chicken’ - yum!
Fiona Nightingale, Head Chef
With more than 18 years of experience, Fiona is an industry professional and has been fortunate enough to be a part of some exceptional award-winning establishments. Fiona's Flair for menu design and passion for food provide inspiration and guidance for the whole team.
Whe she's not cooking up a storm at work, Fiona likes to experiment with new ideas and explore current and evolving trends.
Favourite menu item: As a fan of flavour Fiona's favourite is our Fillet Mignon Lollypop with Bernaise Sauce
Wayne Henderson, Sous Chef
A seasoned chef with immense experience, Wayne brings a great deal of value to Flavours. With almost twenty years in the industry, he has enjoyed much career success having worked in some of Sydney’s leading restaurants and hotels. He is both passionate and innovative, key attributes that are essential in the kitchen, especially given that he is tasked with overseeing the training of our younger chefs.
When he’s not in the Flavours kitchen, you’ll find Wayne riding his motorcycle or playing a game of squash.
Favourite menu item: Wayne finds it hard to say no to one of our ‘Passionfruit Marshmallows’
Sharon Watts, Kitchen Operations & Dispatch Manager
Prior to joining Flavours, Sharon worked in the retail food industry for fifteen years as a delicatessen manager. With a keen eye for detail, Sharon’s expertise is central to managing our quality assurance procedures and oversees the logistics of all outgoing orders.
Sharon loves barbeques, dining out, catching a movie and relaxing with friends over a tipple or two.
Favourite menu item: Sharon is particularly fond of our hearty ‘Twice cooked pork belly, masterstock caramel, micro herbs served on betal leaf’.
Peter Klianis, Logistics Manager
Peter has over fourteen years experience in the logistics industry, including a period working as an operations manager and sales representative with a firm specialising in corporate relocations; he also runs his own company ‘Austech Logistics’. His primary responsibility at Flavours includes assigning delivery runs, refining logistical procedures and overseeing all deliveries and equipment collection.
When he’s not navigating the traffic, Peter likes to hit the golf course, as well as playing tennis and soccer with his mates.
Favourite menu item: Peter is a big fan of the ‘Mini pappadum with tandoori chicken’.
Liz Dalton, Senior Event Manager
Liz brings a great deal of experience to Flavours having worked in a managerial role at a fine dining restaurant, as well as an events coordinator at a high profile national franchise. Her role as events manager at Flavours entails the organisation and supervision of all private and corporate events. She liaises with our Executive Chef and Logistics Manager to ensure all events run smoothly.
When she’s not overseeing events, Liz enjoys dining out, listening to live music and indulging in fine wines.
Favourite menu item: Liz always has an appetite for our ‘Olive & Parmesan Shortbread with Mushroom Pate and Candied Walnut’.
Clare Miller, Client Services Manager
Clare boasts an extensive range of experience in hospitality including: catering, events, retail, wholesale & manufacturing. During her 20 years in the industry Clare has gained invaluable experience in both weddings and corporate events. Clare‘s tertiary qualifications in Business Catering Operations, alongside her passion for great food and good service make her a force to be reckoned with in the events industry.
Clare enjoys surfing, cooking Thai & Vietnamese inspired cuisines & entertaining with friends over a meal and a glass of wine.
Favourite menu item: Clare loves our Asian inspired finger food items; including our ‘crisp Thai prawn & ginger straws with kaffir lime dipping sauce’.
Leah Bowers, Event Manager
With twenty years hospitality experience, of which ten of those have been spent in weddings and event management, Leah brings a diversity of knowledge and resources to the team. She has managed countless events in some of Sydney‘s finest venues and has worked closely with many keynote corporate clients. Her vastly impressive résumé reaffirms Flavours‘ position as being at the forefront of the events industry and our ability to deliver truly memorable events.
When she isn‘t in the office, Leah likes to play with her two nephews as well as hit the shops for a little retail therapy.
Favourite menu item: Leah loves our house-made tartlets including the ‘Chocolate ganache with walnut praline’, ‘Caramel macadamia’ and ‘Lemon meringue’.
Jacqui Walther, Corporate Account Manager
Jacqui has a strong interest in the events industry, and joined the Flavours family after receiving her Diploma in Events Management and having worked for an events staffing specialist for three years. Her natural enthusiasm and sunny disposition makes her an ideal candidate to oversee our customer service in the corporate division, and is always available to help talk our clients through our menu or to assist with any queries they might have.
Jacqui is an avid netballer, and also enjoys dancing and boxing in her spare time.
Favourite menu item: Jacqui can often be found snacking on our ‘Anzac Muesli Baby Bites’.
Gemma Jupp, Accounts
With a long career firmly established in the retail food and hospitality industry, Gemma is highly regarded as a valuable team member at Flavours. Her experience includes running family-owned retail food businesses, co-founding a widely renowned delicatessen and working for a national promotional agency coordinating food demonstrations and product launches. Gemma’s primary responsibility at Flavours is as our accounts payable and receivable officer.
As a keen food-lover, Gemma likes reading about all things gourmet, dining out, experimenting with new flavours and sharpening her knives.
Favourite menu item: Gemma has a weakness for our very delicious ‘Ma Hor - spiced duck + peanut, scallop & pineapple salsa, micro herb in a chinese spoon’.
Emma Gustafsson, Event Co-ordinator
Emma is an event aficionado having worked in hospitality for five years, honing her skills in customer service at numerous well-known restaurants, bars and event venues. Her tertiary studies include a Diploma of Events Management recently completed in 2010. Emma has an infinite enthusiasm for the events industry and has proven herself to be a creative hands-on type who is always ready to assist in any way she can.
Her love of good food and wine extends beyond the office, as she enjoys dining out with her friends in her spare time. Emma can often be spotted lazing around on one of Sydney‘s beautiful beaches.
Favourite menu item: Emma is very keen on our ‘Thai spiced king prawn, lemongrass and lime mayonnaise and mango salsa in a shot glass’.
Lauren Star, Marketing & Events Assistant
Lauren has worked in hospitality for three years and is well-versed on how to create events with serious X-factor. She takes a particular interest in the planning process and loves working behind the scenes where she can see an event go from concept to completion. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Major in French & Cultural Studies) and her previous professional experience includes working in business development within the property sector.
Lauren enjoys experimenting with new pasta and stir-fry recipes, and loves kick boxing, bows, and her dog Killi.
Favourite menu item: Lauren has a penchant for our ‘Signature potato salad’.
Renee Eddy, Catering & Events Assistant
Renee's experience is drawn mostly from her strong history in customer service. At this stage in her career Renee is most excited about learning new things and forming a solid foundation for her business traineeship. With her great attitude and a willingness to take on any task assigned, Renee has all of the ingredients she needs to be successful in the catering and events industry.
When Renee is not hard at work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and soaing up some vitamin D at her local beach.
Favourite menu item: Just like most of our team, Renee is a choc-a-holic. She recommends our 'Hot Chocolate Shots' to conclude the perfect cocktail party.
