Low FODMAP

FODMAPs are found naturally in a wide range of foods and food additives.
This is a diet followed to help manage and reduce the symptoms of medically diagnosed IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Certain foods are triggers for IBS symptoms and as such, those foods are eliminated or reduced.
Explained simply, FODMAPs are a collection of sugars that are not properly digested in the gut which trigger IBS symptoms.
